WFMW- Keepin' Your Thighs from Catching Fire

Like most women, I am a little blessed in the inner thigh area. And I find that if I wear skirts without pantyhose (which I haven't worn since before Mr. Dramatic was born...over six years ago) my thighs rub together. It is extremely annoying to be walking along all smooth and then you practically trip because your thighs are glued together. Well, maybe none of you have had this problem, but it is one that has plagued me.

My solution?

As you apply deodorant to your underarms, rub some on the inside of your thighs! Works like magic! You can keep the friction level down and avoid inner thigh burns.

How did I stumble upon this fabulous tip you might ask? Quite by accident. I figured that I could at least keep my thighs from sweating so much from the friction and voila! Inner thigh lubricant!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who does that! Actually I got the idea from a friend's husband who has a separate deoderant stick that purpose!

That's a great idea - never would have thought of that. When I remember, I use a liquid baby powder thing that I found at Big Lots - I've never seen it anywhere else.

OH, Mrs. Q! This post is for me! I may appear to be thin, small, even. For many years, since the hypoglycemia/oh my gosh what sugar does to the body diagnosis/discovery- I've been a small size, and actually- was never really big, just not near as small. ;0
BUT, where does that extra weight and fat go when I put it on? MY THIGHS! MY 5'4 /12" (QUESTIONABLE...is it 5'5' or 5'4 1/2" ? My husband and I are about 1/4 - 1/2 inch apart in height) , long-waisted frame just seems to pack it on in the thigh area!
This is an awesome tip! That sweet high waisted bluejean skirt I mentioned in my WFMW post- well, you know? It's fitted, you know? Tight...could sooo use this tip!

Thanks for visiting my blog...
Also..I just loved, LOVED what you wrote about your husband! That's so sweet! LOOOVE IT!

OH MY GOSH, I am so happy I swallowed that mouthful of coffee before reading this post...it would have come right out my nose! I AM SO TOTALLY WITH YOU! But I guess I never looked at it as being "blessed" in that area! :)

And my skirts...Roy would ask 'remember that one skirt you had' and I would tell him, 'as soon as the positive symbol popped up on the test, I donated them ALL'.

Have a great day!!!! :)

Great idea! I have the lovely "blessing" of extra inner thigh-age as well. This will definitely help!

Wani: You are not alone. I just don't think anyone else would willingly admit it to the whole blogosphere. I have no shame...lol!

Jeni: Glad I could inspire :)

Rena: Glad that my curse of "muscular" inner thighs could be turned into a blessing. (No, I don't really view it as a curse, more of an inconvenience really...lol!)
Thanks for the comment regarding my little bio I wrote on my hubby :)

I am quite grateful for this tip. I do still wear skirts... maybe I shouldn't but hubby likes it when I do and I like a happy hubby. I am totally going to try this b/c I too have been "richly blessed" in that area. :-)
