Mrs. Devine asked how you create whimsy at your house on her blog Devine Home. Here I share my little bit of whimsy...
Up front I apologize for the terrible photo quality...I had to use it with flash off and it is hard to keep perfectly still to avoid blurring!I

All the photos except for this one were candids..I have a REALLY hard time getting a candid out of this handsome guy, he loves to pose!
Oh, and total cost for these photos?
$15.96
How to get studio quality looking photos without the studio price?
Go to your local craft store (mine is Michael's) and get the pre-matted black frames (got mine on sale for $3.99 each!). Then take fun pictures of your kids, choose your favorites, use Picasa to make them black and white, print off on photo quality paper (or regular...doesn't really seem to make a difference...one of those photos is photo quality paper and the rest are plain old paper), slap the photo in the frame and hang. Enjoy!

What wonderful little faces to decorate your home - both on the walls and within them!
I love using photos I've taken as decorations. It's so easy and inexpensive to upload and print them at my local Walgreens. My favorite frames are the floating style that I get at Wal-Mart.
Love the bible verse. Amen!
