Miss Precious has been very ill this whole week. Not too mention, her brothers had the flu as well. Three sick kiddos, not much fun. These are the kind of weeks that make you want to take a vacation from your normal career as mother! But, I signed a lifetime contract on that vocation. No sick days, no vacation, what kind of a racket did I get myself into???
I jest. Truly, I love my choice as a SAHM. It satisfies a desire that resides deep within me. My family is my life.
That being said, my life often gets in the way of my planned out life. Like my plan for a $200 grocery budget this month. This budget didn't include trips to the store for Motrin and anything that will entice my baby to eat. There is no monetary limit I can place on my baby girl's health and comfort. There is a limit to our checkbook though. And we are fast approaching this budget-barrier.
Still, God is faithful in this all. He will provide and He is healing my baby.
So please accept this apology in advance. Those of you who wait with baited breath for my end of the month totals, please don't hold your breath for this month's. I have a really good excuse though...if I you need proof, I'll show you the two ER bills we will be getting!

Its times like you are going through when it can be hard to be a mom. Each little one needs extra care and attention leaving you drained and exhausted. I'll be praying for you and that your children will get better quickly.
Sick babies are no fun. My little girl was sick last week too as a reaction to her immunization shots...it lasted for a week. Not eating, flopping around in pain, not playing, barely walking...it really breaks a Mother's heart. It was so nice the first day she didn't whine and actually gave us a big smile. Hope your little girl gets better soon!
Hi Mrs. Q.
So sorry to hear about your daughter. Hoping she is on the mend.
It's been a while, but that last electricity bill I told you about was around $390.ish. I think... The next one was post-Gustav and was pro-rated. Lower, though.
The last one was $245. I'm sure weather changes may have had a bit to do with the totaly; however, I truly believe cutting back that water heater has helped.
Your input and advice is going a long way. So keep it up... Don't sweat this month's totals. Just another opportunity for the Lord to be glorified. I know it's easier said than done grasping that when you're in the midst of circumstances that are unpleasant and without sleep. THAT one would get me!
Many blessing,
Rena
P.S.
Don't know if I've already told you (if so, excuse the redundancy), my sister, Ginger (heresmycuplord.wordpress), and I are doing a new meme: The Daily Mercies. We'll be sharing stories of God's work in our lives. Big or small....testimonies....that's how we overcome...the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. Check it out if you have time....
Oh if I lived close to you I would be on your doorstep helping you with the little kiddies!
Sending you lots of hugs and kisses to you and your family!
